Turkish President Erdogan meets with local administrators

Reports state Erdogan said Turkey has no reason to target Russia with which his country have strong relations. He also denied allegations that Turkey was buying oil from the Islamic State (IS) militants in Syria. A Russian warplane was shot down by Turkish fighter jets on 24 November as it returned from a mission in support of Syrian government forces, an incident which sparked a war of words between the two countries.
